Pornpimon Piumpongsuk Pornpimon completed her lighting and architecture education from Barlett School, University College London and joined the company in 2000 originally in Singapore office and moved to Bangkok in 2002 to open Bo Steiber Lighting Design’s Thailand office. She assummed her Director position in 2005. She has 25 years of professional design experience in lighting masterplan, infrastructural, hospitality, commercial and institutional projects. Pornpimon manages her team in all aspects both design, project management as well as administration. Her affection in lighting springs when she was an architectural student, and she went to further education in her both passion subjects architecture as well as light and lighting. Pornpimon has across the board lighting design experience in mixed use, high rise, commercial, retail, hospitality and residential projects. Her works are in Thailand, South East Asia, India and Indian Ocean. With her background in architecture, lighting is the fourth dimension to architecture, light and lighting can bring emotional value to architecture. An interplay of architecture and lighting is her point of convergence. Pornpimon has participated in lighting events as guest speaker for ASA lighting design forum: Interface with International. She was a team leader at the Light Asia Bangkok 2017: Lighting Design for the Buddhavas of Wat Pathum Wanaram: Creative Design Workshop for Thai Architecture. |
